WILD HORSES 4x4 – Office Expansion & Network Integration

When WILD HORSES 4x4 fully remodeled their adjacent building to expand office operations, they brought in Jefferson Network Solutions to ensure the network infrastructure matched the quality of the renovation.

Our scope included extending their existing network into the new building, running 45 high-speed Ethernet lines from the main server room to individual workstations, and installing all wall plate connections. Each line was terminated, tested, and verified for performance.

This project highlights our commitment to clean installs, reliable connectivity, and scalable network solutions that support growing businesses.

Project: Office Expansion & Network Integration
Environment: Commercial Office / Warehouse Facility
Scope: Approximately 45 Ethernet Drops
Services: Structured Cabling, Network Integration, Wall Terminations, Testing & Verification

The Challenge

Expanding the Network Without Starting Over

WILD HORSES 4x4 was expanding into an adjacent building that had undergone a full interior remodel. The new office space needed dependable network connectivity, but it also needed to integrate with the infrastructure already supporting the company’s existing operations.

Rather than creating a separate network for the expansion, the objective was to extend the existing infrastructure from the main server room into the new building.

That required planning cable routes, determining workstation locations, coordinating the installation with the remodeled space, and ensuring every connection could reliably communicate back to the existing network.

The Solution

Structured Network Infrastructure for the New Office

Jefferson Network Solutions installed approximately 45 Ethernet lines between the existing server room and workstation locations throughout the expanded office.

The project included:

  • Routing structured Ethernet cabling throughout the new office

  • Extending connectivity from the existing network infrastructure

  • Installing workstation network drops

  • Installing and terminating wall plates

  • Organizing and labeling network connections

  • Terminating cables at the network side

  • Testing individual Ethernet runs

  • Verifying connectivity and performance

  • Maintaining clean cable routing throughout the remodeled space

The installation was planned so the finished network complemented the newly renovated office rather than looking like technology had simply been added afterward.

The Result

An Expansion Ready for Daily Operations

Once the network installation was completed, the new office had dedicated wired connectivity at each planned workstation and was integrated into the company’s existing infrastructure.

The completed project provided WILD HORSES 4x4 with:

  • Reliable wired connectivity throughout the expansion

  • Organized workstation connections

  • Clearly terminated and tested network drops

  • Centralized connectivity back to the existing server room

  • Infrastructure that can be maintained and expanded more easily

  • A clean installation consistent with the quality of the remodeled office

This is exactly the type of project I’d use to demonstrate what JNS means by full-service network infrastructure.
