Cocoro Bistro Sushi – Surveillance, Network & POS Integration

Cocoro Bistro Sushi brought Jefferson Network Solutions in to modernize and strengthen the technology supporting their restaurant operations.

The project included a complete 21-camera 4K surveillance system, upgraded Cat6 network infrastructure, segmented Wi-Fi, and a fully installed and configured Clover POS system.

Jefferson Network Solutions installed and organized the cabling, network connections, cameras, wireless infrastructure, and point-of-sale equipment so each system could operate as part of one dependable technology environment.

The completed installation gave Cocoro improved visibility across the property, more reliable connectivity for staff and connected devices, and a POS system ready for daily restaurant operations.

The Challenge

Modernizing Multiple Systems at Once

Cocoro needed more than a single equipment upgrade.

The restaurant required improved camera coverage, updated network infrastructure, dependable wireless connectivity, and a new point-of-sale system capable of supporting daily operations.

Each system depended on the same underlying network environment, so installing them independently would have created unnecessary complexity.

The objective was to create one organized infrastructure that could support staff connectivity, POS devices, guest access, surveillance equipment, and future technology needs.

The Solution

An Integrated Restaurant Technology Upgrade

Jefferson Network Solutions upgraded Cocoro’s technology environment across several areas of the restaurant.

The project included:

  • 21-camera 4K surveillance system

  • Interior and exterior camera coverage

  • Centralized surveillance recording

  • Remote camera viewing

  • New Cat6 structured cabling

  • Network equipment integration

  • Segmented Wi-Fi configuration

  • Separate network access for appropriate device groups

  • Clover POS hardware installation

  • POS device configuration

  • POS testing and programming

  • Cable routing and termination

  • Equipment organization

  • Final system testing

By coordinating networking, wireless access, surveillance, and POS equipment together, the restaurant received a cleaner and more manageable system.

Network Infrastructure

New Cat6 Cabling Throughout the Restaurant

The existing network was upgraded with new Cat6 structured cabling to support the restaurant’s connected systems.

The network infrastructure provides wired connectivity for equipment including:

  • POS terminals

  • Security cameras

  • Network hardware

  • Wireless access points

  • Other connected restaurant devices

Cabling was routed, terminated, and tested to provide a more dependable foundation for the restaurant’s technology.

Restaurant Audio

Bose Commercial Audio Throughout the Space

The restaurant also required audio that could provide consistent sound across both dining and bar areas.

Jefferson Network Solutions installed a Bose commercial audio system consisting of:

  • 10 premium speakers

  • Two subwoofers

  • Distributed audio coverage

  • Organized audio cabling

  • Central equipment integration

The system was designed to provide balanced background audio throughout the customer-facing areas without relying on standalone consumer speakers throughout the restaurant.

Security Camera System

21-Camera 4K Surveillance Coverage

Jefferson Network Solutions installed a complete 21-camera 4K surveillance system to provide visibility across both interior and exterior areas of the restaurant.

The installation included:

  • 21 commercial security cameras

  • 4K video capability

  • Interior coverage

  • Exterior coverage

  • Centralized recording

  • Remote viewing access

  • Organized camera cabling

  • Network integration

Camera locations were selected around key operational and property areas to provide useful coverage while maintaining an organized installation.

Segmented Wi-Fi

Separate Connectivity for Different Users and Devices

Cocoro’s wireless network was configured with segmented access rather than placing every device on the same wireless network.

This allows different types of network traffic to be separated appropriately, such as:

  • Staff devices

  • POS equipment

  • Business systems

  • Guest Wi-Fi

  • Other connected devices

A segmented network can improve organization and reduce unnecessary access between different groups of connected devices.

Clover POS Installation

POS Hardware Ready for Daily Operations

Jefferson Network Solutions handled the physical deployment and configuration of Cocoro’s Clover point-of-sale equipment.

The project included:

  • Unboxing and equipment preparation

  • POS terminal installation

  • Peripheral connections

  • Network connectivity

  • Hardware testing

  • Basic system configuration

  • Device programming

  • Final operational testing

The goal was to provide the restaurant with a clean installation that was ready for staff use when the system went live.

The Result

One Technology Foundation Supporting the Restaurant

After completion, Cocoro had a more organized technology environment supporting security, connectivity, staff operations, customer transactions, and wireless access.

The finished project provided:

  • 21-camera 4K surveillance coverage

  • Interior and exterior property visibility

  • Upgraded Cat6 network infrastructure

  • More organized network connections

  • Segmented wireless access

  • Connected Clover POS equipment

  • Cleaner cabling and equipment organization

  • Infrastructure designed to support future changes

Rather than managing several unrelated systems, Cocoro now operates on a technology foundation designed to support the restaurant as a whole.
